Welcome to Brazosport College! Home of the Brazosport Gators! The New Student Orientation Page is here to provide you with information regarding our orientations, programs, and support systems specifically for our new students.

Students who are attending college for the first time or students with a time lapse in enrollment are required to complete thetwo-part (A & B Sessions)New Student Orientation program. Students should, first, complete thePart A, which is theNew Student Orientation online module.This module does not have an option and must be completed by students. Students should complete the entire module, take, and pass the quiz, and print the certificate for filing.

This page will focus solely on theD2L Make-Up Courseopportunity, which is consideredPart Bof your journey of becoming a Brazosport College student.

To support our fall and spring 2021-2022 students, who need to complete our mandatory two-part New Student Orientation, we have created this course. This course will be consideredPart B of your orientation and must be completed if a student failed to complete Part B (Face-to-Face/In-Person or Virtual Zoom Opportunities).这个网站课程将被视为一个化妆品session for our Virtual Zoom and Face to Face sessions and isonly offered for a limited time.

All fall 2021 and spring 2022 must complete theNew Student Orientationvirtual course via D2L(Considered Part B).The course can be accessed onVirtual Campus. Once logged in, you should see a course titled“New Student Orientation.”This course will remain active fromMonday, February 21, 2022, at 12:00 p.m./noonuntilWednesday, March 23, 2022, at 12:00 p.m./noon.You must complete the entire course, take each quiz, and complete the surveys at the very end. Failure to complete the course in its entirety will cause credit NOT to be issued. Please do not rush through the course. Your time will be monitored within the D2L system.

It is in your best interest not to wait until the last days of the course to try and complete it and have your holds released. It is also highly recommended to complete the original Part B offerings, as this course will not always be available. Students must also completePart A Comevoto receive complete credit for BC New Student Orientation.

When you have completed your Part A & BBCtwo-part orientation, please contact the Office of Student Life at 979-230-3519 for verification. Our systems will also notify our office, and your holds will be released according to completion records and verification of data.
