ON CAMPUS REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE

Brazosport College will continue to offer on campus registration assistance at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College. These sessions provide an opportunity to get individual assistance with all college enrollment needs. College staff will be available to assist with application, advising and counseling, enrollment, financial aid, payment options, IT and student services opportunities.

The next on campus registration assistance opportunities at the Dow Academic Center are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, August 21, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What should I do before I get there?Complete an应用.(如果出现问题,则可以在现场完成应用程序)。

Enter the campus on West Gator Drive (Entrance A nearest the railroad tracks). There you’ll receive specific written directions. After you park, stay in your car until directed to come into the Dow Academic Center. Complete the online Health Screening Questionnaire atwww.www.d-onis.com/screening, and masks are required at all times on campus.

ZERO DOWN PAYMENT PLANS

Brazosport College is offering zero down payment plans to students registering for the 2020 fall semester. Students can keep their schedule and enroll in a plan by Thursday, August 20. To enroll in a payment plan, log in tomyBC.www.d-onis.com.

After careful consideration, and with guidance from the Center for Disease Control and the Texas Department of State Health Services, Brazosport College will be offering a variety of course formats for Fall 2020.

Fall courses will be delivered in one of the following formats:

  1. Face-to-Face:Traditional on-campus courses with social distancing and other safety precautions in place.
  2. Blended:Courses with both on-campus and online instruction.
  3. Scheduled Live Online:Online courseswithscheduled live interaction with instructors. Student will log-in at their designated class time.
  4. Online:Online courseswithoutscheduled live interaction with instructors.

If students have questions about their fall BC courses, want to make a change, or want to talk to someone they may emailecounselor@www.d-onis.com. E-counselor services are available from Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.

The $40 online course fee will not be charged for Summer II and Fall classes, but please note that all other course fees still apply.

GATOR HALL

Beginning August 24, 2020, Gator Hall will be available for students Monday – Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. to access the college internet. Students should bring their own laptop, and will be required to wear a mask/facial covering and adhere to social distancing requirements while on campus. Because the room has been arranged for social distancing, it is limited to thirty (30) students at a time. Disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies will be available.

GATOR MART DRIVE-THRU DISTRIBUTION TIME

All BC students who are currently enrolled or who have been enrolled in the past year are eligible for food from Gator Mart.Gator Mart Drive-Thru Food Passion是星期三,下午3点至下午5点

  • Please bring your student ID card and Houston Food Bank card (if available).
  • Distribution will take place in the overhang area of the Sadler Health Sciences Building.
  • To protect the safety of all food recipients and staff, the following guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Houston Food Bank will be followed:
    • Drive under the Sadler Health Sciences Building overhang and stop next to a table placed in that area.
    • Pre-packed boxes and bags of groceries will be on the table.
    • 退出你的车子,打开你的行李箱,and load the groceries into your trunk. Be careful not to touch the table; just touch the boxes and bags of groceries. If you accidentally touch the table, alert one of the staff and they will clean the table after you leave.
    • All staff and food recipients will maintain a six-foot distance at all times.

As a reminder, Brazosport College adjusted its health screening process as employees, students, and visitors come to campus. Instead of a drive-up health screening at the C-Wing, you are required to complete an online COVID-19 Health Screening questionnaire before arriving on campus.

你需要填满你t the questionnaireeach day您打算来北斗事大学校园。Once completed, you will be shown either a green check mark with “APPROVED FOR ENTRY” if you have passed, or a red exclamation mark with “STAY HOME, STAY SAFE” if you failed, as well as your name, and the date you completed the questionnaire. If you arrive on campus without completing the Health Screening questionnaire, you can complete it using your smartphone. If you do not have access to a computer or smartphone, computer stations are available at Human Resources located in the C-Wing lobby as well as in the Library located in the center of campus. Other computer locations may be listed in future updates.

Brazosport College will have an increased focus on safety monitoring to promote safety protocols of social distancing, wearing a face covering or mask, practicing good hygiene, etc. Once on campus, have either the confirmation email or confirmation screen of your completed questionnaire available as you may be asked at random to show proof of completing the self-screening tool. Audits within the health screening system will also be conducted to ensure self-screenings are being completed.

Upon arrival to campus, you will be able to access all parking lots and enter campus through most entrances.To provide clarification, face masks or facial coverings are required for all students, employees, and visitors (ages 10 and up) any time on campus.The exceptions are: if you are walking, running, or biking on the trails; if you are in your vehicle; if you are alone in your office with the door closed; if you are a welding student actively welding and wearing a welding face shield; and, if you are an instructor lecturing students, you may wear a face shield instead of a face mask in addition to maintaining 6ft. of distance. Otherwise, all individuals, students, faculty, staff, grounds keepers and contractors are to wear a face covering/mask.

Anyone that does not pass the COVID-19 Health Screening questionnaire should not come to campus. Everyone that passes should be prepared to show the confirmation email.

Please note, the COVID-19 Contact/Exposure Report Form is separate and apart from the Health Screening Questionnaire. The COVID-19 Contact/Exposure Form should be completed if you have been exposed to someone or if you have tested positive for COVID-19.
