An Important Message Concerning Lake Jackson Water Quality

Brazosport大学continues to monitor advisories from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the City of Lake Jackson regarding the water quality affecting the City of Lake Jackson. All college operations, includingthe May’s Children’s Center and all college classes, are scheduled to occur as planned, either online, face to face,or in a hybrid/blended format, for Monday, September 28, 2020.

Brazosport大学is a designated Point of Distribution (POD) site through the end of the day on Tuesday, September 29thfor Lake Jackson residents to receive bottled water. Due to the traffic on campus, employees and students should enter Brazosport College through W. Gator Drive, the entrance closest to the railroad tracks, and park in either the red or green lots. Those on campus should plan to bring food and water for the duration of time on campus as Tommy’s Catering will be closed on Monday, September 28th. The reopening of Tommy’s Catering will be determined upon further guidance from TCEQ and the City of Lake Jackson.

Parents dropping children off at The May’s Children’s Center should enter the College campus through E. Gator Drive, the entrance closest to The Center for Arts and Sciences, and communicate with the Brazosport College Police Department that you dropping your child off at the Children’s Center.
