Brazosport College was recently ranked as the top community college in Texas by Niche, a leading higher-education and career website.

Brazosport College was featured in the Niche’s article, “2023 Best Community Colleges in America,” earning the title as the top community college in Texas and the No. 25 community college in the country.

In a separate ranking from Niche, Brazosport College also earned the No. 21 spot on the “Best Hispanic-Serving Institutions in America” list. This ranking featured both two- and four-year institutions, with Brazosport College being one of only seven community colleges to make the cut. BC was again Texas’ top-ranked community college on the list.

Niche’s Best Colleges ranking was based on analysis of academic admissions, financial and student life data from the U.S. Departmement of Education, along with millions of reviews from students and alumni. For consideration on the Best Hispanic-Serving Institutions list, schools had to have Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) membership, and rankings were based on analysis of key statistics and reviews from students.
