Brazosport College begins Fall semester with various student events

If the first week is any indication, it’s going to be an exciting semester at Brazosport College.

The 2022 Fall semester recently kicked off and the hallways at BC were filled with students. At the same time, many departments throughout the college ensured there were a variety of activities for students to participate in.

主要的方式是公元前的学生生活办公室with a week full of festivities that included a Micro Meals and Cooking Demonstration, a first-day BC swag giveaway and a New Student Orientation Open House. Student Life also teamed up with the College’s Department of Veteran Services for a Rep Your Branch event that encouraged BC’s veteran students to wear a shirt or cap that honored the military branch they served in.

Other events included a Bingo session by the Student Government Association, a hurricane seminar co-hosted by the BC Library and the BC Police Department, and a voter registration drive held by the Tea Rose Pearls group and the College’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

The coming weeks will continue a semester of student activities at Brazosport College, with everything from a Student Involvement Fair, Hispanic Heritage Month festivities and a College Transfer Fair, among other events, open to students.
